Ve's coffee apron.

Tonight, I made an apron for fellow cookie maker and ukulele player, Ve. She's really into coffee so I bought this fun illustrated coffee print from Spoonflower:

I also bought some brown cotton linen and webbing from JoAnn's Fabrics:

And then got crackin':

Not too shabby for first apron project! :)

My produce bags.

Here are some produce bags I made for myself. I enjoyed making Susan's so I ordered this fabric from
Spoonflower and whipped some up for me.

The cashiers at Trader Joe's and Whole Foods find them funny whenever I use them to bag my produce.

Tony's cable knit scarf.

My friend, Tony, had asked me to knit him a vest awhile ago. I've never knitted a project that large before. I told him I'd do it but warned the vest will most likely come out ugly. I was right. I used this vest pattern. My first attempt wasn't terrible but I still considered it an ugly sweater. Wish I had photos of it. Tony ended up wearing it to his office Ugly Christmas Sweater party :(

The vest wasn't the best example of my work. I took the it back, unraveled the yarn and knitted a cable knit scarf instead using the Mr. O'leary scarf pattern. I added an extra row of cable knitting to make the scarf a little wider.

baked eggs.

Went on a cabin trip to Woodstock this past weekend where I cooked everything in bacon fat.
I kind of regret it. But it was so darn tasty.

I bought ramekins just to make these baked eggs.
I sauteed the kale in bacon fat.

I made these scones for breakfast too.
The leftovers were tasty with some hot chocolate in the afternoon.

I used grapefruit and smoked salt marmalade jam from Anarchy in a Jar.
Yom.
